New Health and Wellness Center Coming to West Lakes in 2021
Lift Orlando Announces Health and Wellness Project in West Lakes
New facility will be the cornerstone of the $100M West Lakes Community Campus and will break ground this year.
Lift Orlando is proud to announce a partnership between three of the largest health care organizations in Central Florida: AdventHealth, Orlando Health and Florida Blue. Thanks to their support, a vital component of the $100M West Lakes Community Campus will soon become a reality. A new state-of-the-art building will be home to a comprehensive community and health and wellness center for the residents of West Lakes.
“This is an historic day in our community as we employ the power of collective impact in health care through the shared leadership of these world class organizations coming together in this important endeavor at the heart of the 32805 zip code,” said Eddy Moratin, President, Lift Orlando. “With their support, the residents of West Lakes will now have access to the highest-quality health care services and community amenities in a beautiful and professional atmosphere, affirming the dignity of every person, regardless of financial status,” continued Moratin.
This new Health and Wellness facility is slated to be approximately 30,000-square-foot, two-story state-of-the-art structure and will be located at 726 S. Tampa Avenue. The facility will be a place for community residents to connect, learn, grow, and thrive.

If we want a community to be healthy, we need to invest in services that are convenient and easily accessible for all of our neighbors, so they are empowered to make wellness a priority,” said Daryl Tol, CEO of AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division and a Lift Orlando Board member. “We’re proud to continue our partnership beyond the West Lakes Early Learning Center, which will open soon. This new center will allow West Lakes residents to stay in their neighborhood to continue their wellness journey throughout their lives.”

The West Lakes Health and Wellness facility will break ground this year with plans to open in the summer of 2021. West Lakes Community Campus projects completed or underway include the mixed-income and affordable housing communities - Pendana at West Lakes and Pendana Senior Residences at West Lakes, The West Lakes Early Learning Center, Lake Lorna Doone Park renovations and the Jacqueline Bradley and Clarence Otis Family Branch - Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida.
