This free training program begins in MARCH 2026!
Lift Orlando’s WorkForward Construction Cohort, in partnership with iBuild, is a training program designed to prepare residents for entry-level careers in the construction industry. The focus of this cohort is on carpentry and electrical. This hands-on, career-focused cohort combines essential soft skills with industry-recognized pre-apprenticeship training, opening doors to real job opportunities.

Cohort Dates
Soft Skills: March 9, 2026 - March 16, 2026
Technical Training: March 23, 2026 - May 21, 2026 (Evening sessions, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM)

Program Benefits
2 weeks of career-readiness training (resume building, attitudinal mindset training, mock interviews)
10 weeks of Hands On Construction Training
Industry-recognized Certifications
Eligibility Requirements
Commitment to a full-time skills-training program and to full-time employment
Must be at least 18 years old
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Legally authorized to work in U.S.
Requirement may vary based on training pathway
Justice-impacted individuals are welcome to apply
